Cinderella Ending was officially started in July 2011, but has been in the planning stages since April 2011. This blog was started in May 2013. At Cinderella Ending, we have three goals: to give our clients the event they’re dreaming of; to come in under the client’s budget; and to make the event as stress-free as we can.

The Planner
Kiara Joy Gilbert is a 20-something year old single mom. She’s always loved weddings, but when she was a bridesmaid for the first time at 16 she really got into the planning process. She enjoys learning about all the different aspects of planning a wedding, from choosing colors to planning the honeymoon. She enjoys doing unusual, off-the-wall things that people wouldn’t normally think of.

Kiara is willing to get her hands dirty, in numerous ways. She’s a very crafty person, and enjoys helping her clients put together decorations, invitations, table settings and more. She’ll go the extra mile for her clients and loves surprising them. She also loves the looks her clients get on their faces when she’s able to tell them that they have come in under budget.

Kiara received her Wedding Planning Certification through the American Association of Certified Wedding Planners in February 2012. She hopes to follow that up with a Green Wedding Planning Certification from The Wedding Planning Institute. She is also interested in taking Preston Bailey’s Signature Wedding and Event Design Course, as well as his floral design courses. As of August 2014, she is taking the ABC Wedding Planner certification course through Penn Foster; in October 2014 she started taking Penn Foster’s Floral Design certification course.

In April of 2013, Kiara branched out into doing other events besides weddings. This includes birthday parties, housewarming parties and baby showers.
